ASS90059 Team Associated RC10B84.1D Team Kit

The Team Associated RC10B84.1D Team Kit is a competition-focused 1/10 scale 4WD off-road buggy developed for precision, adjustability and consistent performance across modern race tracks.

The RC10B84.1D builds on Team Associated's latest 4WD platform with updates throughout the chassis, suspension, steering and drivetrain. A new Wide Tongue chassis design improves durability, supported by updated V2 side rails and wider A and B suspension mounts.

At the front, the B84.1D uses 73mm Gull Wing suspension arms combined with a dedicated carbon fibre front shock tower. A moulded shock tower cover protects the assembly, while a moulded front bumper is included along with an optional bumper design that covers the anti-roll bar mount.

The steering system receives V2 steering posts and bellcranks, designed to reduce vertical movement in the steering rack. Optimised bellcrank and steering rack geometry also improves bump-steer control across different ride heights, helping provide more consistent steering response as chassis setup changes.

Height-Adjustable Gearboxes

Moulded height-adjustable front and rear gearboxes give racers additional drivetrain setup options.

An additional +2 rear gearbox is included specifically for high-grip conditions, expanding the tuning range available for different track surfaces.

The drivetrain also features long HD rear differential outdrives, 66mm rear CVA bones, moulded ring and pinion gears and a centre differential.

Adjustable Chassis Flex

The RC10B84.1D provides extensive chassis flex tuning through upper and lower chassis bracing at both the front and rear.

This allows racers to alter chassis characteristics to suit different grip levels, track surfaces and driving styles.

At the centre is a 2.5mm tapered 7075-T6 aluminium chassis with 10 degrees of kick-up and an improved departure angle. The motor can also be positioned forward or rearward to further adjust vehicle weight distribution.

Extensive Suspension Tuning

Both standard and HRC High Roll Centre rear hubs are supplied, giving racers additional rear suspension geometry options.

Insert-adjustable caster blocks are also included with 0°, ±1° and ±2° inserts, providing a broad range of front-end geometry adjustments.

New 0.7mm A and D mount shims provide additional suspension setup options.

Adjustable Battery Position

The highly adjustable battery holder uses convenient thumb tabs for quick battery removal.

Battery positioning can be fine-tuned to alter weight bias, allowing racers to adjust chassis balance without major changes to the vehicle.

13mm Big-Bore Shocks

Team Associated's 13mm Big-Bore shocks provide the suspension damping required for modern competition surfaces.

The suspension package is completed with heavy-duty 3.5mm turnbuckles and ballcups, combining strength with precise adjustment.

Low-Profile Aerodynamics

The RC10B84.1D uses a low-profile body together with a 7-inch rear wing.

Two rear wing mounting heights are included, providing another tuning option for adjusting rear aerodynamic characteristics.

An aluminium centre-mounted servo mount keeps the steering servo securely positioned within the chassis.
